INDEPENDENT ARTISTS!

Interested in becoming an MMR Featured Artist?

Artists are welcome to submit their music for consideration here. We ask that music be submitted in properly tagged mp3 format along with links to all relevant social media and artist websites. Submissions containing only streaming links will not be considered for rotation. All other submissions will be reviewed and considered for a spot in the MMR rotation.

Please keep in mind that we are looking for the very best of the best. The only thing used to consider addition to our rotation is the quality of the music (that’s the way it should really be). When reviewing your submission, we don’t care about how big or small your social media reach, awards, places that you’ve been featured, or any other item that may be mentioned in your press material (we do care about all of that further down the line). After all-#ItsTheMusicThatMatters.

We currently receive over 1,200 submissions a month and simply cannot give airtime to every single submission. Your submission will be listened to as time allows. Due to the extremely high number of submissions received by Music Mafia Radio, we cannot guarantee a spot in rotation.

Attention, Music Mafia Radio Artists! A couple of years ago, we ran a thing where we asked artists to submit MMR promos to be used on the stream. We had a great response and you can hear them throughout the day on the stream. The problem is this- WE WANT MORE!!!!!!

Whether you’re a new artist to Music Mafia Radio or one that has been around since the beginning of time, we would love for you to send us your very best promo for the station. If you’re looking for inspiration, listen to the ones currently in production on the stream. We’re changing up a few things this time around. Our new tagline is “It’s the Music That Matters” and we love it when you use the OneFamilia hashtag! Other than that, we leave it to your creative genius to come up with something that will put a smile on people’s faces.

Don’t feel like you need to fully produce a promo. If you are so inclined, go for it (less work for Coz). Dry stems are fine and you can probably record them on your phone and send over the raw cut.

Don’t worry about file format- Coz can convert them into an acceptable format and even match them up with a snippet of one of your songs. Most of the first round of promos were mixed and produced by Coz. Truth be told, this might be just the thing to get him back in the studio to cut some new promos of his own.
